Cogressman Chris Carney will hold a town hall meeting on Monday January 11th at 11 am in Stretansky Hall, Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove. There will not be an open mic. The tickets to speak will be given to the first ones in line.

Urgent- Union County Commisioner's meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, December 15th @ 3:30 p.m.

You may have read in the Daily Item that LARA (Lewisburg Area Recreation Authority) is set to ask the county to take over its Buffalo Valley Rails to Trails project. Trey Casimir, LARA chair, has requested time to present at tomorrow's Commissioner's meeting. There is a good possibility that the commissioners will vote on this issue then without public input.



This project is a multi-million dollar obligation just to get started. LARA has not made their financial records easily… Continue
